Former city councilor Michael Flaherty, who has been largely out of the public eye since his unsuccessful run for mayor two years ago, will discuss his plans for the future tonight on a local radio show.

Flaherty is scheduled for the 10 p.m. slot on Pastor Bruce Wall’s radio show, according to a press release from Wall. Some have speculated that, while Flaherty has been publicly silent, he’s been planning a run for city council.

Flaherty, who lives in South Boston and is a former council president, lost a bid in 2009 to unseat Mayor Thomas M. Menino.

Wall’s weekly show is broadcast on WRCA 1330 AM and Boston Praise satellite radio.
