SATELLITE RADIO HAS COME TO BOSTON
For three years a local pastor has been forging away at creating a platform for Pastors and religious leaders to be on radio in Boston at an affordable cost.
EIGHT RADIO STATIONS
Pastor Bruce is making a name for himself in radio and TV in Boston, Florida, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and other American cities. In the past three years he has been on eight radio stations. His vision is to use radio to introduce people to his faith and to mobilize the Black community to recognize their ability to change their neighborhoods by creating healthy families. He is going to use radio as his tool to reach the hearts and minds of his many listeners.
GLORYSTAR TV AND RADIO
Last week Pastor Wall signed a contract with Glorystar Satellite TV and Radio and he started broadcasting on the satellite and Internet radio right out of the newly created broadcast studio in the basement of his church. Louise Carcione, spokesperson for the new “Boston Praise Radio” stated, “We will now have our own uplink and satellite radio channel operating out of the Global Ministries Christian Church. Local and national pastors and community leaders will broadcast on a daily basis, worldwide from Dorchester. People will be able to hear our church radio station on the Internet and on the satellite via Glorystar TV and Radio (www.glorystar.tv).
A RADIO STATION OWNED BY A CHURCH
Charmaine Neverson, one of the fourteen broadcasters on the satellite radio said, “We will be the first church in the entire northeast to have our own satellite signal and Internet radio channel owned by a local Boston church”
OTHERS WILL BE OFFERED THE FEED
We will be able to offer a feed from our satellite channel to churches, radio stations and other religious groups worldwide. Local pastors, community leaders and youth will be offered time on this first locally based radio station. Fourteen local and national pastors have signed agreements to broadcast on this new station.
